Privacy policy

510 Ridgewood is a private home-automation system used only by members of one household. This policy explains what it does with Google account data.
What it accesses
When a household member signs in with Google, the system can read their Google Calendar events and, if they choose to allow it, add or change events on their behalf. It does not access email, contacts, files, or any other Google data.
How the data is used
Calendar events are used only to show and read out that person's schedule on the household's own displays, and to add events when they ask it to.
Where it is stored
Calendar data is stored only on the household's own Home Assistant server and home computer. It is not sold, shared with, or transferred to anyone else, and it is not used for advertising or to train AI models.
When a household member asks a question that needs an internet lookup, the question (which may mention a calendar event) can be sent to an AI service to answer it. Nothing else is sent.
Removing access
Anyone who signed in can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Removing the integration from Home Assistant deletes the stored data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
